Netvision has come up with a software model for companies who basically deals with three levels of people.

Fox PMS has divided the whole system into three different areas.

1. Fox PMS Managers Area: This area is for managers to maintain all projects, team members, clients, support requests etc.

2. Fox PMS Admin Area: This area is specially designed for team members who can login and work on projects, support requests diverted to them, check mails etc.

3. Fox PMS Clients Area: This area is for clients who can login and view project reports and maintain support RT (Request and Tracking) System.

Fox PMS Managers Area

This area is for managers to maintain all projects, team members, clients, support requests etc.

Where they can:

  • AMDL Administrators: Managers can create new administrators assigning rights for each section which is accessible to the administrator.

  • AMDL Clients: Easy and effective way to maintain clients list. Managers can setup an account for the client with username, password and other clients details.

  • AMDL Team Members: Managers can setup a list of team members with their area of specialisation, provide username password and maintain team member details.
  • AMDL Projects: Managers can add a new project for a client. One client can have more than one project. Also record Project Details, Start Date, End date, FTP details, Website details etc.

  • View Project Tree: Managers can modify and analyse what a particular project involves and can create a complete project tree. This tree provides the managers with an idea of how many sections each project contains and can also add multiple tasks. Each task can have sub tasks and each sub task assigned another task under it and so on. Also a special feature is to track the amount of time that is spent on all the different tasks, thus making it possible to record the total time spent on each task.

  • Project Allotment: Once the project tree has been completed, managers can allocate specific task to a specific team member who will be responsible for the completion of the specified task.

  • Requested Allotments: Managers can approve or disapprove new tasks added by team member from Fox PMS admin area. (See Below - Admin Area)

  • White Board (Request and Tracking System): Managers can manage the entire request tracking system. All the tickets that has been created by the clients for support purpose can be viewed from here.

  • AMDL Clients FAQ (HELP): Managers can AMDL the help section which is in-built into Fox PMS Clients Area, providing the clients with information on how to work on the software.

  • Reports: Managers can generate and maintain reports like Project Scheduling report, Members Scheduling report, Team Members Timesheet etc.

  • Website Details: Managers can change the look and feel of the software. This section gives the right to change colors, and many other features for Fox PMS Managers Area

  • Tracking Report: Managers can track a report on the details of who logged into the system, what tasks were performed and what time the administrators logged out etc.









 

Fox PMS Admin Area


This area is specially designed for team members who can login and work on projects, support diverted to them, check mails etc. They use the username and password that are provided by the manager.


Where they can:

  • Projects Projects: In this section the team member can view all the projects that he/she is entitled to work on. Each project would list the tasks that is to be completed. There are numerous operations that the member can perform against each task that is allocated to him/her. Operations like Start Timer, Stop Timer, Pause Timer to track the length of time spent on the task and Add child task, Modify task, Add Comments to task, View Comments of task to track the details of each task that is to be performed. They can also Expand project and Collapse Project to view or hide all the tasks of the project.

  • Support Track RT System: Request and Tracking System, when a client submits a ticket for any task of a project from the Fox PMS Clients Area, the ticket is automatically directed to the team member who had performed that particular task of the project. If the ticket created is not based on any particular task in the project, then the manager from the Fox PMS Managers Area can direct the ticket to a particular team member. The team member can reply to the submitted request and solve the problem and provide solution for the client. The duration of time spent to solve the issue is recorded by using the timer facility provided against the request. Team members and clients can have as many in and out conversations about a particular ticket as required.

  • Mails Mails: Team members can setup their pop3 email accounts. He/She can send and receive emails, reply to emails, store different emails in different folders, also create an individual spam list to direct emails into bulk folder and all other functionalities.

  • Time Sheets Timesheets: Each team member when they start timer or stop timer for working on a task of the project or a ticket from RT system, their start and stop times are logged into the timesheets automatically. On clicking timesheets, the various time intervals are displayed and the team member can add notes on to each interval to describe the work performed at that interval.

  • Message Board Message Board :All team members can chat and contribute in a conversation among team members. (Upgrading this section to Java Applet )

  • To Do List To Do List : Team members can create a personal to-do list and maintain the tasks and reminders that are to be attended or performed.

  • Calender Calendar: Team Members can also maintain their calendars and record details about meetings and tasks to be completed or performed.


 

Fox PMS Clients Area
 
This area is for clients who can login and view project reports and maintain support RT System. Clients can login to PMS Clients Area from your website home page or a different domain.


Where they can:

  • Projects Projects : Clients can view progress report and comments about the project . Clients can also ask frequent questions and provide suggestion for each task.

  • Support Track RT System : Client can create and submit a ticket for any task of a project. The ticket is automatically directed to the team member who had performed that particular task of the project. If the ticket created is not based on any particular task in the project, then the manager from the Fox PMS Managers Area can direct the ticket to a particular team member. Team members and clients can have as many in and out conversations about a particular ticket as required.
